This is a schedule from admission to discharge so that you can spend your hospital stay with peace of mind.
Women who have given birth before may be able to be discharged one day earlier, depending on the circumstances, such as the results of blood tests after delivery.
Talk to your doctor after delivery.

Discharge is usually on the fifth day after vaginal delivery and the seventh day after Caesarean section delivery, but this can be adjusted depending on the condition of the mother and baby.

This spacious bed can be quickly transformed into a delivery table when it's time to give birth.
During labor, the mother sits in an active chair and rocks gently, or moves her body on a balance ball.
You can also spend your time as you wish, such as soothing your pain with a foot bath, bath, aromatherapy, or music.
Of course, the father can be present at the birth.
Our staff will provide you with full support, so let's get through it together as we work towards the birth of your baby.

The following birth kit and amenity kit will be provided to you by our hospital when you are admitted to labor and delivery.
2 packs of medium-sized napkins (20 pieces in total), 1 pack of large-sized napkins (5 pieces), postpartum pads, umbilical cord, 1 pair of postpartum shorts, wet cotton, 2 packs of baby wipes

Although not included in the birth kit, we will provide clothes for your baby (which can be changed as needed when soiled) and diapers (2 bags of 36 diapers each) during your hospital stay. Please bring these with you if you need more during your hospital stay.
*Please bring your own clothes for your baby when you leave the hospital.

Newborn photography is also popular in Europe and the United States.
We have partnered with iKids Co., Ltd. to provide newborn photography services to patients giving birth at Kitano Hospital. We hope that the happiest and most unforgettable moments after the birth of your baby will become irreplaceable treasures for the whole family.
For a newborn baby, breast milk is the optimal nutrition (for acquiring immunity) and is the first gift from the mother. Babies practice sucking while still in the womb, so midwives support them to help them do this well after birth.
Babies feel safe and can drink breast milk whenever they want when they are with their mothers, so we recommend that mothers and babies stay in the same room at our hospital. However, we also take into consideration the mothers' feelings and fatigue, and will sometimes take care of their babies and encourage them to rest.
Although the hospital stay is short, we aim to deepen the bond between mother and baby by providing care and support together, and we support the mother as she begins her child-rearing life at home.We also provide breastfeeding consultations at our breastfeeding consultation room after discharge.
