This is a condition in which the rectum turns over and protrudes from the anus when straining, such as during a bowel movement. Sometimes it goes back into place naturally, but sometimes it needs to be pushed back in manually.
Children's organs are less stable than adults'. It is thought that repeated bowel movements accompanied by strong straining due to constipation can cause the intestines to protrude. In many cases, children tend to be constipated.

The rectum is inverted and protruding from the anus
It is not good to leave the intestines protruding. If they do not return, you will need to gently push them back in with your hands. If this is difficult to do at home, please consult a medical institution.
First, we treat the constipation. We use medication to make it easier to pass stool so that you can defecate without straining too much. In the case of children, organs become more firmly fixed as they age, so in most cases the condition will improve naturally. However, there are cases where the condition does not improve no matter what, and in those cases surgery to fix the rectum may be performed. The surgery is performed using a laparoscope, which uses a small incision.
