At our hospital, we recommend that you consider a birth plan while you are pregnant. A midwife will explain this to you during your midwifery outpatient visit or during prenatal health guidance. Think about your own birth together with your partner and midwife.


In principle, only partners are allowed to be present at the birth. Older children are not allowed to be present. If you wish to give birth at our hospital,You must visit our obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic by the 15th week of pregnancy.Please prepare a referral letter (medical information document) from your current obstetric clinic or other institution addressed to our obstetrics and gynecology department and make an appointment at our hospital.
When preparing a referral letter, you can also make an appointment at our hospital through your medical institution. This will reduce the hassle for you, so please ask your medical institution to make an appointment at Kitano Hospital.
