Our hospital held a clinical certification curriculum seminar, which is the standard for obtaining the qualification of a respiratory certified physical therapist.

Valuable opinions

The materials provided by each professor are very easy to understand and serve as a useful reference for daily clinical practice.
The materials were distributed in advance, allowing us to prepare with plenty of time to spare.
The curriculum and flow were easy to understand, and I think I was able to attend the lectures until the end. I thought it was great that they offered catch-up streaming, so they could accommodate me even if I couldn't attend on the day. It was unfortunate that practical lectures were canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. I think it would be easier to study if there were even just a few more practical and face-to-face lectures in the future.
I believe I was able to deepen my knowledge and skills even though the course was held online. I feel that the quality of my clinical treatment has improved significantly since the seminar. I was very grateful for the streaming service. I avoided busy times and watched the course at night when my family was asleep, but thanks to that, I was able to attend all the lectures. I was very grateful because I didn't have to take time off work for the lectures.
Due to COVID-19, the practical session could not be held, but I would like to receive instruction if the opportunity arose.

The long-term clinical certification curriculum seminar has concluded.
Despite it being held late on a weekday evening, many people attended and provided their feedback in the questionnaire as shown above.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 this year, it has been difficult to hold face-to-face practical training sessions, and we have received feedback from teachers who have taken the course that this was disappointing. We do not know what the infection situation will be like in the future, but we will continue to consider and prepare ways to hold the course in a way that will satisfy everyone.

We are also planning to hold a clinical certification curriculum seminar (respiratory) at our hospital next year.
More details will be posted on our website later this year.
