Treatment details (dermatology)

treatment method

We treat 100-150 outpatients per day and also actively provide inpatient treatment when necessary. The range of illnesses for which we provide inpatient care is diverse, including shingles, leg ulcers, erythroderma, inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis vulgaris, collagen diseases, athlete's foot disease, and malignant diseases.

Our treatment is based on scientifically based standard treatments, taking into account the latest information and technology for each disease. For example, for atopic dermatitis, we provide detailed treatments with an emphasis on the quality of life of each individual patient, such as topical steroids and oral anti-allergy medications, skin care guidance focusing on moisturizing and cleanliness, and investigation of aggravating factors.

For skin ulcers, in addition to systemic treatment or surgical treatment for the underlying disease, we aim to achieve healing as quickly as possible by selecting appropriate topical agents and wound dressings according to the local skin condition, and simultaneously using physical therapies such as near-infrared irradiation and carbonated baths.

Since skin diseases are often chronic and difficult to treat, not only our doctors but all of our paramedical staff strive to provide care that prioritizes the quality of life of each patient. Furthermore, in collaboration with the plastic surgery department, we have established a system that allows us to respond quickly to diseases that require surgery, such as tumors.
