Recently, genetic testing has become increasingly common for cancer treatment and disease diagnosis, but each person has their own concerns about the significance of undergoing genetic testing, as well as their own anxieties and doubts about the test. Clinical geneticists and certified genetic counselors provide support from the perspective of genetic medicine, working closely with each patient.

Our hospital focuses on the treatment of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome (HBOC), and also conducts multi-gene panel tests that can simultaneously test for multiple genes related to cancer.

We provide genetic counseling* for those who are wondering, "What will be discussed during genetic counseling?" or who are concerned about genetics but think genetic counseling is too difficult. During genetic counseling, we will discuss general information about genetics and our genetic counselors will provide advice on what types of people should come for genetic counseling. Please tell your doctor that you would like to speak to a genetic counselor.
