Medical Departments
Although rare, tumors can be found in children. Because children do not undergo health checkups, tumors are often discovered after various symptoms appear. Therefore, it is not uncommon for tumors to be found after they have grown quite large. Treatment plans vary depending on the type of tumor and where it occurs.

Teratoma of the head of the pancreas
There are many different types, including neuroblastoma, kidney tumor (nephroblastoma), hepatoblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, teratoma, etc. Some of them are benign, while others are malignant.

Left nephroblastoma
Treatment methods vary depending on the type of tumor. First, imaging and blood tests are used to narrow down the disease. Benign tumors are generally removed through surgery. Malignant tumors are often treated with a combination of surgery and medical treatment (medication, radiation, etc.). Treatment is carried out in cooperation with various departments, including pediatrics and pediatric surgery.

Hepatoblastoma
*If a tumor is suspected, early diagnosis and treatment are necessary.
