Radiation Oncology Outpatient Waiting Room
The Department of Radiation Oncology is a new medical department specializing in radiation therapy. Previously, it functioned as a part of the Department of Radiation Oncology, but was separated into two departments to further enhance its expertise.
We will continue to work in cooperation with the various clinical departments at our hospital to provide better cancer treatment, so we appreciate your continued support.
In addition to the existing staff, the Radiation Therapy Center will have a new medical physics room with a full-time medical physicist and a certified cancer radiation therapy nurse, starting with a new system suited to the high-precision radiation therapy of the future.

In addition to conventional three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, we will continue to respond to the ever-advancing radiation therapy, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiation therapy for lung cancer and liver cancer.

We have introduced a brachytherapy device using the Remote Afterloading System (RALS), which allows us to complete radical radiation therapy for uterine cancer and other conditions at our hospital.
For details on the radiation therapy equipment used at our hospital, please see the linked page.
