Comprehensive medical checkups include one-day and overnight options, with options including brain, heart, lung, bone density, PET-CT, and colon exams. Comprehensive medical checkups are primarily aimed at the early detection of malignant tumors (cancer of various organs) and lifestyle-related diseases (obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, etc.), allowing for early detection and treatment before symptoms are present. Furthermore, even if you already have a disease and are undergoing treatment, screening for systemic diseases can help detect other abnormalities from a different perspective than specialized medical care.

Kitano Hospital has 33 specialized medical departments, so if any abnormalities are found, we will promptly refer you to the appropriate department, and we also provide comprehensive aftercare that only Kitano Hospital can provide. Conversely, we sometimes have patients utilize our medical checkups when follow-up observation is necessary even after detailed examinations at specialized medical departments. 1. High-quality medical checkups using hospital functions
   Our medical checkup department makes full use of the hospital's functions, with specialists diagnosing each individual test, and then a doctor specializing in medical checkups integrating the results to provide an assessment and explanation. Any abnormalities discovered during our medical checkups are coordinated with related departments to ensure a definitive diagnosis and early treatment as soon as possible.
2. Evidence-based health checkups
   In recent years, the promotion of "evidence-based medicine (EBM)" has been emphasized, but the utilization and penetration of EBM in the fields of health checkups and preventive medicine is still a challenge for the future. Our Health Checkup Department aims to develop a program that aims to put EBM into practice not only in the selection of test items, but also in feedback of results and interventions for lifestyle improvement. We also conduct clinical and research activities with the aim of actively disseminating evidence in this field.
3. Team medical care
   Through team medical care involving a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, public health nurses, nutritionists, laboratory technicians, and administrative staff, we aim to not only perform tests but also manage health checkups according to the individual characteristics and living environment of each patient.
