Food is the foundation of treatment and the basis of life for all patients. For inpatients, we provide appropriate meals tailored to their condition. We support treatment by providing delicious meals through daily meal planning, seasonal special occasion meals, and individualized support for patients with reduced appetite. We also provide nutritional guidance and suggest appropriate, balanced meals to outpatients with conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, post-surgical gastrointestinal disease, cancer, and dysphagia. Implementing dietary therapy into daily life can be difficult. We work closely with patients to carefully consider dietary changes tailored to each patient's condition and lifestyle. Our highly specialized registered dietitians work in collaboration with various hospital professionals, including doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to support patients' treatment in every aspect through food as part of the medical team.
Based on the nutritional assessment at the time of admission, we create nutritional management plans for patients who require nutritional management, calculate the amount of nutrition required for each patient, select appropriate meals, and make proposals to the doctor.
In addition, for patients with malnutrition or undernutrition, we will conduct an intake assessment.Nutrition Support Team (NST)At the same time, we will work to improve nutritional status.
The ward nutritionist provides early intervention for patients who require nutritional management, and works with other medical staff to provide the best possible medical care to help them recover and be discharged as quickly as possible.
We actively provide nutritional and dietary guidance to patients with lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, and chronic kidney disease, as well as cancer patients, patients with impaired eating or swallowing functions, and patients who are malnourished.
We provide nutritional advice based on your condition and dietary habits.
