Rapid diagnosis during surgery

Rapid tissue diagnosis

A specimen is prepared from the lesion collected during surgery, and a pathological diagnosis is made in approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
It checks the tumor margins and the presence or absence of metastasis, and helps determine the extent of resection.

Rapid cytological diagnosis

A specimen is prepared from the body cavity fluid (ascites and pleural effusion) collected during surgery and checked for the presence of cancer cells.
It contributes to determining the malignancy of cancer and deciding on surgical plans.
