What is World Kidney Day? World Kidney Day was jointly proposed by the International Society of Nephrology and the Kidney Foundation International as an international initiative to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and treatment of kidney disease, and was established to be observed every March.
World Kidney Day is celebrated in over 100 countries across six continents, with various awareness campaigns taking place, with doctors, paramedical staff, patients and their families at the forefront of awareness-raising activities.
