Careers
Our hospital's nursing department is part of the 10th Research Department of the Medical Research Institute. One of our nursing department policies is "5. As nursing professionals, we will continuously develop our practical, educational, and research skills and strive to develop the organization." One of the skills required of nurses at our hospital is research ability. We have established a system to provide opportunities and venues to improve this ability and provide support.

Ethical review is conducted for research conducted by nursing staff.
*If patients or their families are used as research subjects, the research will be reviewed by the hospital's Medical Ethics Review Committee.
The results presentations began in fiscal year 2008. Starting in fiscal year 2017, they were held on holidays. Approximately 180 to 200 people attend, and presentation topics are submitted from almost every department. Participants from each workplace are inspired by listening to presentations on research and results from other departments and participating in question-and-answer sessions, which serves as an opportunity for them to use this information to improve their own departments.

The Medical Research Institute's Health and Wellness Research Department has one or two presentation opportunities per year, with one or two nursing staff members making presentations.
