Voices of senior nurses

male nurse

Mr. K (9th floor East Ward)

This marks my third year since I was assigned to the Cardiac Center at my request. My desire to work in the cardiovascular field remains unchanged, and I continue to work hard at nursing every day with that same fresh feeling. Our department is also home to an HCU, and while caring for patients with cardiac disease in the acute and subacute stages, I spend every day learning about anatomy, physiology, and treatment progress in a constantly changing environment. Whenever I don't understand something, doctors and senior nurses offer accurate guidance and advice. The collaborative system allows me to share information with junior colleagues and other professionals, which makes my work enjoyable. If you're interested in cardiovascular nursing, join our team and let's work hard together!

Childcare nurse

Mr. K (West Ward, 11th floor)

I took a year of maternity and childcare leave and returned to the gastroenterology ward, where I had worked.
Even though I had experience, the environment had changed, and I was worried about whether I would be able to balance work and childcare. When I first returned to work, I had to take several sudden days off due to my child's or my own poor health, but thanks to the understanding of the head nurse and other staff, I was able to continue working by being flexible with my shift arrangements. I was worried about whether I would be able to work night shifts, but with the help of shift adjustments and, more importantly, my husband's cooperation, I was able to work night shifts.
I wanted to take a long parental leave, but working has allowed me to connect with society, refresh myself, and help me work hard at raising my child.

operating room nurse

Mr. A (Central Operating Room)

I work in the central operating room. When I first started working here, I was very anxious, and my living environment changed, so I underwent many physical and mental changes. However, thanks to the constant concern and support of my seniors and colleagues, I strongly feel that I have been able to grow, little by little. Now, I conduct assessments to be considerate of the mental and physical aspects of patients undergoing surgery, deepen my knowledge through conferences, and aim to provide better nursing care.
I also have to mentor my junior colleagues, which has made my days busier and given me more to do, but I am studying hard every day so that I can approach my nursing with confidence.
I look forward to working with you all and growing together in the future!
