Careers
We are recruiting pediatric residents in their third to fifth year after graduation, and pediatric staff members in their sixth year or later. Our goal is to have specialists in each field of pediatrics and to be able to provide advanced medical care. In addition, all staff members are committed to educating pediatricians who can handle a wide range of general clinical work without being biased towards a particular field. Please come and visit us. In 2026, we particularly welcome enthusiastic staff who are interested in educating young people, with a focus on pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists, and pediatric endocrinologists. Of course, we welcome enthusiastic people from any field.
Our department has specialists in various fields, but the barriers are very low, so we can consult with each other easily.In addition, we have a very well-equipped pediatric surgery department with six full-time staff, and we have excellent cooperation with the pediatric department and pediatric surgery department.
Since COVID-19 became a Category 5 disease, the number of patients has returned to above 3,000 per year, reaching 4,070 in 2024 (327 of which were in pediatric surgery). Due to the large number of cases and the extensive pediatric surgery department, there are many valuable cases that are difficult to experience at other hospitals. Residency is ideal for accumulating case experience for the future, and is recommended for staff who wish to be generalists while also having a subspecialty. Many of the residents are excellent and strive to improve themselves. It is rewarding for those who supervise them to see the young residents grow.
