What is the Pansy Society?

This is a diabetes patient group (Diabetes Friends Association) that is affiliated with the Japan Diabetes Association.
The group is made up of diabetic patients, their families, and medical staff such as doctors, nurses, and nutritionists.
Diabetes Friendship Associations are located in 1,400 hospitals and clinics across the country.

The activities of the Friends of the Association include:

• Medical staff and patients regularly hold unique study sessions and walking events.
• Distributed the monthly magazine "Diabetes Life Sakae" edited by the Japan Diabetes Association
• Walking rallies held at each branch
• There are social gatherings and discussions between patients.

The annual membership fee is 4,000 yen.
