The advantage of inhalation therapy is that it allows high concentrations of medication to reach the airways, reducing systemic side effects. For inhaled medication to be effective, it is necessary to learn the correct inhalation method that matches the dosage form. In recent years, the number of inhalation methods has increased, giving more options, but on the other hand, inhalation instructions have become complicated, often leaving patients confused.
With this goal in mind, Kitano Hospital (Respiratory Medicine Department and Pharmacy Department) and the Kita Ward Kita Branch Pharmacists Association have teamed up to establish an inhalation instruction network. This time, we will be holding the 10th seminar on inhalation instruction.
