●Be sure to visit the Inpatient & Dismissal Support Station (Pre-Existing Medication Mgmt). We will confirm pre-existing medication and consult a pharmacist.
Go even if you do not have pre-existing medication.
●Go to ⑤ Inpatient Reception Counter (1F). All admission paperwork will be handled and the ward will be introduced.
You may purchase everyday goods at the convenience store in the hospital (B1F).
We offer our e-Rental Service, which lends out everyday items as needed (clothes, towels, daily goods, diapers).
To peruse, apply at the Inpatient Goods Rental Counter, Hospital B1F (Eikyu Co., Ltd.).
Applications can be made before or on the day of admission.
Visitation has been restricted due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus to prevent infecting inpatients.

At Kitano Hospital, names are not shown at the entrance of doorways to protect the privacy of our patients. First, check-in at reception.
Due to visitation reception hours, there are two reception counters.

Young children (elementary school age and under) have weak immune systems, and visitation rights are generally restricted to prevent the risk of infection. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
The Pediatrics Ward, Obstetrics Ward, ICU, HCU, and SCU all have different regulations established. Please follow each ward’s respective rules.
The Hospitalization Fee to be charged is based on the co-payment rate of your health insurance plan and provisions of the Health Insurance Law.
According to the Health Insurance Law, hospitalized days begin from midnight. Regardless of admitted time, hours with a midnight in between shall be considered 2 days of hospitalization.
The professionals at Kitano Hospital will attempt to provide the best care with informed consent from patients, but complications may occur from time to time. According to Japan’s health care system, the treatment of complications fall under health care services provided by health insurance, and in principle, you will be responsible for any related costs.
Kitano Hospital has been designated an acute-care hospital and we can classify patients by the combination of diagnosis and procedures (DPC).
The Hospitalization Fee for DPC inpatients is calculated by adding fixed amounts to serviceable charges.
Hospitalization and room charges will be billed monthly. The billed amount will be delivered to the inpatient in a “Notice of Hospitalization Fees”.

We can provide a doctor’s note, written opinion, or life insurance medical certificate at the Documentation Reception Counter (1F).
If you need a doctor’s note, written opinion, or life insurance medical certificate, apply at the Documentation Reception Counter (1F) in-person during the following hours.
Note: If patients cannot come in-person due to distance, applications may be accepted by post.
