We asked some of our staff to show us the things they normally carry around. What kind of jobs do they have?
Answer: Orthoptist
Orthoptists are specialized technicians in the field of ophthalmology, and are "visual function specialists" who protect the eye health of a wide range of generations, from infants to the elderly. They support all aspects of ophthalmology, including "ophthalmic examinations" to check visual acuity, visual field, color vision, and eye movement, and "orthoptic training" to help patients with amblyopia and strabismus use their eyes more effectively. They also provide various methods of low vision care to compensate for vision loss caused by eye diseases or injuries, and help improve quality of life (QOL).

Mita-type universal measuring instrument
This is a scale used to measure the size of a patient's pupils, the distance between their pupils, and to measure exophthalmos and ocular irregularities.
fixation target
It is used as a target when checking for strabismus, double vision, etc. Pictures of animals and characters are used to make the test easier for children.
cover(Shielder)

When testing for strabismus, this is used to cover one eye, allowing eye movement to be observed and the type and severity of strabismus to be determined.
