Kitano Hospital employs highly motivated young researchers as Kitano Cadets. They are provided with a place to gain clinical experience and an environment where they can continue their research, with the aim of cultivating excellent medical researchers who will lead the next generation of medicine. This program is implemented in collaboration with the Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine.

- The target audience is those under 43 years old who have completed doctoral studies and aim to become the next generation of medical researchers.(We plan to hire around 5 to 10 people each year)
- Recruitment is through public recruitment and selection is conducted by the Kitano Cadet Steering Committee, which includes external experts.
- Clinical experience in the medical field

- Hired as a full-time employee (physician). Term is generally 3 years.
- Reduces the burden of some medical procedures
- Supporting research activities at medical research institutes
