"Nursing Day" was born out of a strong desire to ensure that all citizens share the spirit of nursing and caring equally, and to foster this spirit especially in children who will be responsible for the aging society of the 21st century.
If the spirit of nursing, caring and mutual support is nurtured in homes, communities and workplaces, we will be able to prevent illness and cure it while it is still in its early stages, and those who do succumb to unavoidable illness will be able to receive an abundant supply of warm comfort right up until the end.
At Kitano Hospital, we hold "Nursing Day" every year to showcase the "power of nursing" that supports our patients. We have prepared some fun events, so please feel free to come along.
