On February 20, 2026, Vice Director Masato Sato received a letter of appreciation from the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters. This letter of appreciation recognized Vice Director Sato's efforts since 2011 to combat child abuse, including establishing an "Abuse Prevention Team" within the hospital to protect children, and his contributions as a clinician to investigations of child abuse cases not only at his own hospital but also at other hospitals.
