Shokyosai Tencho [Magician]
Originally from Hokkaido, she has studied under a wide range of magicians, mastering a wide variety of magic tricks, from table magic to illusions, traditional Japanese wazuma (traditional Japanese magic) to Western magic, yozuma (traditional Japanese magic). True to her catchphrase "eternally 25," she is renowned for her youthful and vibrant performances, and is a regular performer at the Tenma Tenjin Hanjotei in Osaka. She has performed overseas many times, including a one-month run in Paris, and has won numerous awards in competitions, including the Hawaii Magic Convention. In 2014, she performed her first solo show, "Suika Ryoen," showcasing the uniquely Japanese magic trick "Mizugei," and participated in the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival. "Mizugei" and "Ukare no Cho" (Floating Butterfly) are said to be the pinnacle of wazuma magic, and she is the only woman to continue the Kitensai school's "Ukare no Cho" (Floating Butterfly), a traditional Japanese magic trick performed in front of the Emperor.
