Information on wearing masks inside the hospital

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have asked all patients to wear masks while inside the hospital.
However, taking into consideration the impact of the extreme heat expected this summer on people's health, we will be relaxing some of the restrictions on wearing masks from July 2024 as follows:
We ask all patients to continue to cooperate with infection prevention measures.

Target Audience Mask wearing rules
  • Outpatients
  • Accompanying person
If you have cold or respiratory symptoms such as fever, sore throat, or cough, please wear a mask.
This does not apply to asymptomatic people.
  • hospitalized patients
  • Visitors
Please be sure to wear a mask in the ward.
  • Hospital staff
We wear masks in clinical spaces where we come into contact with patients (outpatient blocks, wards, various counters, etc.).
Masks may not be worn in non-clinical spaces where staff do not come into contact with patients (offices, convenience stores, coffee shops, staff cafeterias, break rooms, etc.).
