He is a visiting researcher at our institute.Yoshiharu(Yoshiji)Satoshi(Satoshi) On January 18, 2024, Dr. Ikushi (Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nephrology) received the 14th (2023) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Ikushi Prize from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.

This award was established in 2010 with the aim of honouring outstanding doctoral students who are expected to contribute to the development of academic research in Japan, thereby stimulating their motivation to study and research and fostering the development of young researchers.

The award is given to doctoral students in all fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences who have excellent academic records, are well-rounded, and are actively and independently engaged in their studies and research activities.
