Since 2021, our hospital has been promoting "hospital art" activities, which use the power of art to provide patients with a healing treatment environment.

With the cooperation of Kyoto University of Arts (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City), we have been operating the "NICU/GCU (Main Building 8th floor)" and "Outpatient Block (Main Building 2nd and 3rd floors)", and created artworks to match each concept. In March 2024, a new artwork was completed on the wall of the "Chemotherapy Center (Main Building 6th floor)."

With the Chemotherapy Center in mind as a place where cancer patients undergo anti-cancer drug treatment, the theme for this production was "Relaxed, Gently, Relaxed," and the artwork created to express "ease of the heart" was chosen. Students from the university and staff at our hospital exchanged ideas many times to create the design, aiming to create a space that would bring relief to the hearts of both patients and medical staff, gently accept any thoughts, and provide a space that would allow even a little peace of mind.

Our hospital will continue to take various measures to create an environment in which patients can receive treatment as easily as possible.
