Newsweek magazine was first published in the United States in 1933 and is a long-established information magazine with a large readership worldwide. The rankings published by the magazine are based on data from an online survey of over 85,000 medical professionals in 30 countries around the world and a patient satisfaction survey, with scores being assigned comprehensively based on multiple criteria such as safety and hygiene measures, quality of treatment, and patient questionnaires.
