As a core cancer treatment hospital in Osaka Prefecture, our hospital provides various forms of medical care to cancer patients and also provides opportunities for medical professionals to deepen their understanding of cancer.

As part of this, on November 6, 2023, we held an "Appearance Care Seminar" for medical professionals to give a lecture on appearance care for cancer patients.

On the day of the seminar, we welcomed a special lecturer from Shiseido Japan, and around 70 medical professionals from inside and outside the hospital participated. They learned makeup techniques that can help solve concerns about skin care and side effects from cancer treatment. In a survey after the event, many people said they were glad they participated.

We will incorporate the appearance care techniques learned in this seminar into our hospital, aiming to further improve care for cancer patients.
