A new operating room (day surgery room: DS) opened on the 3rd floor of the main building on January 4, 2023.

It will first be used for ophthalmic surgery, and is composed of two rooms with an area approximately twice that of the original ophthalmic operating room.All ophthalmic surgery, from local anesthesia and general anesthesia to same-day surgery and inpatient care, will be performed under DS.

Equipped with the latest equipment, including a head-up surgery system, intraocular endoscope, image-guided system VERION, and intraoperative refraction analysis device ORA, we perform surgery three days a week for a wide range of diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, and vitreoretinal diseases.
