Kitano Hospital has been preparing for some time and has begun offering focused ultrasound therapy (FUS), a surgical treatment for essential tremor and Parkinson's disease tremors that are resistant to medication, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

For patients who received treatment on the same day, results were seen at the end of treatment, and we will continue to follow up on these patients at our hospital, with the hope of establishing a system that will enable us to provide this treatment to even more patients in the future.
