OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)

OCT (optical coherence tomography) is a test that creates cross-sectional images of the structures of the eye.

Because it can distinguish the layer structure of the retina, it can be used to identify macular diseases such as preretinal membranes and age-related macular degeneration, as well as glaucomatous neuropathy.

It is possible to evaluate changes in papillary structure and thinning of the nerve fiber layer.
