Kitano Hospital Pediatrics Department is recruiting pediatric staff members with six years or more of post-graduation experience to work primarily in the NICU starting in April 2015.
Our hospital has specialists in various fields of pediatrics, and currently has a large team of 27 full-time doctors, including trainees and staff.
There are approximately 3,000 pediatric admissions each year, of which 300 are admitted to the NICU. The NICU medical system is somewhat independent from the pediatrics department, with five to six doctors, including three medical residents, providing medical care.
Although there are only about 15 to 0 cases of extremely low birth weight babies each year, the hospital works closely with nearby obstetric facilities and receives about 100 newborns.
Our motto is to treat each case with care, make a thorough diagnosis, and formulate a treatment plan.We also put effort into promoting neonatal resuscitation techniques, and are particular about our teaching methods.
Due to spring personnel changes, we are actively recruiting staff to join us from April 2015.
Although NICU care will be the main focus, we will do our best to accommodate your requests, such as balancing it with general pediatric care and providing an on-call system.
I also welcome comrades who would like to accompany me to a traveling resuscitation training session with a resuscitation doll in hand.
If you are interested, please contact us.
Visitors are also welcome.
thank you.
