1. In addition to renal function, abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiogram, ankle brachial pressure index (ABI), pulse wave velocity (PWV), carotid artery ultrasound, and fundus examination are performed before admission to determine the extent of cardiovascular disease.
2. Check for nocturnal hypertension with 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.

We will conduct tests not only to check kidney function but also to detect and treat vascular diseases, primarily arteriosclerosis, which become more common as kidney function declines.
