As a "CAPD Education and Training Medical Institution" certified by the Japanese Society of Peritoneal Dialysis, our hospital is accepting applications for a two-day education and training course in 2011 on the dates below.
The maximum number of participants is two, and we will adjust the number of participants accordingly. We appreciate your understanding if we cannot accommodate your request.
Characteristics of our hospital
Our hospital has established an information exchange network using the CKD regional collaboration path with the primary care physicians of patients with early-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD).We also utilize multidisciplinary kidney disease classes to provide support aimed at preventing the progression of CKD and improving quality of life if it does progress.
Our hospital's peritoneal dialysis department is a department that starts treating patients who have selected CAPD at stage 5 CKD, and operates alongside general nephrology outpatient services and hemodialysis. Catheter placement by urologists is often performed laparoscopically and is also compatible with SMAP.
A distinctive feature of our hospital's CAPD education and training program is that it includes time for discussions, including case studies. We hope you will join us.
